Florence Nightingale Tattoo Heart Vinyl Sticker
Celebrate the lady with the lamp with this shiny vinyl Florence Nightingale Tattoo Heart sticker.
Florence Nightingale was an English social reformer, statistician and the founder of modern nursing. Nightingale came to prominence while serving as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organised care for wounded soldiers at Constantinople.
We’ve designed this sticker in the style of old school vintage heart tattoos, but instead of having ‘Mum’, ‘Dad’, or maybe the name of a long forgotten ex, this one’s for Florence. Celebrate the lady with the lamp with this shiny vinyl Florence Nightingale Tattoo Heart sticker.
This Florence Nightingale sticker measures 11×8.5cm, and has a white background. Printed in beautiful full colour using eco-friendly UV stable inks onto a durable heavy-duty vinyl with a strong adhesive backing, pop this on your notebook, laptop, folder, mirror – our stickers will stick to just about any clean surface. Our Florence Nightingale sticker is sturdy, waterproof, and weatherproof – we’ve seen them stuck to water bottles, and they’ve even been stuck to cars! These babies will go wherever you choose to stick them.
– Premium vinyl sticker with a white background
– Printed with eco-friendly toners to produce crisp, vivid colour
– Super sticky, these will stay put on laptops, water bottles, notebooks – wherever you choose to put them!
– Durable, weatherproof, resistant to UV bleaching, and waterproof
This design was originally commissioned by the UK’s Royal Statistical Society (RSS) in 2020 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. Born on 12 May 1820, Florence Nightingale was the first female member of the RSS, having joined the Society (then the London Statistical Society) in 1858, just two years after her return from the Crimean War. She remained a member until her death over 50 years later.
I post out orders once a week on a Wednesday, this is because I run Little Science Co alongside my full-time job as an academic researcher. This little passion project has grown more than I ever thought possible (thanks to you lovely people!), and I need to put some boundaries in place to ensure that I don’t burn out. If you really need your order to be posted out more quickly, please send me an email (email@example.com) and I will do my best to help you.
I use Royal Mail to buy postage online, and then I pop all orders in my local post-box to make sure I am minimising social contact as far as possible. Currently, Royal Mail remains open for business as usual, though they are understandably experiencing some delays due to the ongoing pandemic. International orders are also experiencing delays due to Brexit (not my choice… #ScientistsForEU).
At the checkout you will be asked to select either ‘standard’ delivery which is not a tracked service, or ‘upgraded’ delivery which is a tracked service. If you would like to be able to see where in the world your order is between its journey from me to you, please select the upgraded option. Please bear with me through this very strange period – I really appreciate your support and will do my best to make sure that your order reaches you in good time.
